BRIEF
When given the opportunity to choose any area covering ‘Design for Living’ I chose to develop my knowledge on branding, marketing, specifically the connection between product design and visual communication. The project was split up into two parts the first section a report write up contrasting a literature review with our own findings. The second half developing a design brief which I set;
To research further into how businesses market themselves through web design and social media. Look at graphic design trends UI & UX and how they communicate to the consumer through the use of online presence, narrative etc.
Concept
Process is a platform for young designers; whether students, graduates or young professionals to market, brand and even sell their work. It gives designers the opportunity to brand and market themselves with links to their individual social media profiles, digital portfolios and professional profiles. The site could also be used for recruiters to easily see the work produced by students and universities as well as providing exposure to brands looking to take products to manufacture.
