Brief
Given the brief to refresh the Overbury reception area I produced this document to collate opportunities and concepts. It includes; an analysis of the existing space and offers new ideas through interior designs and product selection.
Design
As the UK’s leading office fit out and refurbishment specialist Overbury requires it’s workplace to portray it’s influence in the UK market by being on trend, functional, aesthetic and dynamic. The reception is the first place the guests will see and so making a distinct impression is important.
The reception area could be utilised to make guests feel more invited and welcome to seat whilst still allowing space for staff to eat their lunch or to use for a breakout meeting. Acoustics and divisions could be used to break up the space. There was also an opportunity to do rework elements from the ceiling and lighting.
